III. Robert Moodie, Portioner of Masterton, who had a Charter of one-
eighth of ^lasterton, Jul}" 1600, and who appears on an Inquisition, 22nd June
1603. He married, first, Ee.5sio Ponton. She died October l‎(i23. Her will
(" Com. of St Andrews ")‎, " as spouse to Robert Mudie, Portioner of Masterton,"
was proved 26th July 1624, and mentions a sou James "in Ospital." He
married, secondly, at Dunfermline, 28tli June 162.5, as "Robert Mudy," with
no designation, Christian Lundy, who died March 1635 ; her will ‎('•' Com. of
St Andrews ")‎, as " spouse to Robert Mudy, elder, Portioner of ]\Lasterton,"
being proved 2nd July following. He had issue : —

1. Robert ]Moodie, Portioner of Masterton, baptized at Dun-
ferndine, 19th December 1613, and served heir to his
father in one-eighth of ^lasterton and in one-half Swynton's
Beath, 23rd November 1626. He would .seem to be the
Robert Mudie of Masterton who married Hulen Mudie and
had issue : —
